Dr Sudish Karunakaran is a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at VPS Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi, Kerala. He received his medical degree from the University of Kerala and MCh in Neurosurgery and Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neurovascular surgery both at the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Sciences and Technology. Following MRCS at the Royal College, Edinburgh, he went to England, where he completed FRCS in Neurosurgery from Royal college of surgeons as well as Postdoctoral Fellowship in Paediatric Neurosurgery from Bristol. He was the captain of the University Basket ball team as well as best player for 3 consecutive years in All India Intermedical basketball Tournament.
